Prayagraj: Chief minister
Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday visited the defence exhibition and praised the advancements made by Indian companies in developing state-of-the-art equipment.
He carefully reviewed a wide range of exhibits designed to meet the evolving demands of modern combat.
During his visit, Yogi inspected bulletproof jackets, tactical gear, advanced helmets and specialised military equipment developed for multi-terrain operations. He engaged with experts to understand the technical specifications and practical applications of these products.
Innovations such as “head-to-boot” protection systems, modular protection gear and clothing designed to withstand extreme temperatures emerged as key highlights of the exhibition.
Particularly noteworthy was an all-weather outfit that can be reversed for use in both extreme cold and hot conditions. Yogi expressed appreciation upon learning that the same technology could soon be adapted for children and newborns.
At the stall of the Army Headquarters Central Command, he interacted with officers and sought details about green energy initiatives and drone detection systems.
The symposium served as a testament to the strong collaboration between govt agencies, defence forces, academia and private industry.
